The third year of troubled waters starts and interestingly enough the crisis moves also into its third phase. As anticipated by the realistic experts it has spilt over from the financial world to the real economy only to hit the state sphere in recent days.

The financial world revealed its  ugly face at the beginning and regrettably continues to reveal more and more… Particularly the US financial sector seems to get out of hand and is  not  able to control itself.

The political world is a self-contained world. Governments facing this challenge are fairly weak and fragile in many countries. They do not have sufficient support and their fight with the crisis is crippled by the political turmoil.  Do you need an example? One year ago, the Czech Republic lost its government just a couple of weeks before the end of its EU Presidency.  Currently,  Belgium has no government … and they are  due to take over the EU Presidency next July. Just imagine if your business had such an unstable leadership...

The business world shows  quite a different face. Weak and incapable companies disappeared, the others fought hard, focused on their core businesses and survived. Over the last three years we  have seen lots of very interesting situations and we have gained a wide range of valuable experience. 

The best companies managed not only to survive but to handle their processes much better, more efficiently, and they took the opportunity to gain more market share, to grow and to expand. They have become cost effective and have learnt how to operate at the lowest level possible with no room for waste. Their non-core businesses, typically administration, are managed externally - professionally, efficiently and reliably while providing adequate support for their core businesses.
